How to prepare for a German Cockroach Treatment?
Empty Kitchen Cupboards
It is advised to empty all your kitchen cupboards to receive the best treatment and erradication of the German Cockroach. They live in dark areas of the cupboards and hide and feed in those areas. The Technician can then apply the gel in the areas that the cockroach lives.
After emptying your cupboards it is better if you don't clean them. The treatment will be more effective. The Technician then can inspect the movement patterns of the cockroach and apply gel in the correct spots. It is advised but is entirely up to you.
Treatment Time
Turn off airconitioner during treatment
Remove pets from area being treated
Chemical sensitive people should leave until chemical dried & premise fully ventilated
Treatment
Discuss and Inspect
Our Surekill Technician will take the time to discuss your german cockroach problem. They will inspect the environment to get an understanding of the problem. Also they will conduct a Enviornmental Inspection Report to make sure that it is safe to conduct the treatment as required by the EPA (Environment Protection Authority).
Gel Cupboards
Gel is applied into the kitchen cupboards and other areas where the German Cockroaches are hiding and feeding.
The Gel attracts cockroaches to feed on the gel. Once they have fed on the gel they go back to their harbourage where the natural insect toxin then kill the cockroaches. They die and then infect other cockroaches, This 'viral' effect gives you the elimination result.
Payment
Payment Options are cash, credit, eftpos or cheque.
Unless specific written arrangements has been provided then full contract price shall be due and payable and recoverable by the Surekill Technician on commencement of the intial treatment.
Dust around applicances
Dust is dispensered under the fridges and dishwashers.
The dust is exceptionally light, it flows into any cracks or crevices where the german cockroach is found. It is odourless. It also can withstand heat and provides long term effectiveness.
Spray Inside
Spray is applied to the skirting boards and kick boards in the kitchen.

Management
Plan
Our Surekill Technician will discuss your Pest Management Plan when they are at your property. This will include how long until your next treatment and that we will send you a reminder letter.
Let the Technician know if you have any other pest problems or concerns that you want treated or monitored. They will be able to discuss it with you and include it in your Pest Management Plan.
Dead Cockroaches
After treatment you will notice cockroaches dying as they move ever more slowly or dead ones.
Please put dead cockroaches in the bin. Cockroach do feed on the dead but only if there is no other food source. Get rid of them quickly by making the gel their food source.
Cupboards and Kitchen
Avoid contact with treated surfaces until chemical agent has dried
It is best not to clean cupboards until cockroach activity has ceased after treatment. It takes approximately 21 days for acvtivity to cease.
Wiping down benches and cleaning floors can be done when treatment is fully dried approximately two hours after treatment.
