Booking Information
Job Booking - Time Duration
Silverfish treatment typically takes approximately one hour. When you book you'll receive a time allocation for arrival (e.g., between 3 pm and 5 pm). Please note, if the technician arrives at 5 pm, the treatment will not be finished until approximately 6 pm.
Insurance and Australian Standards
Surekill Pest Control Pty Ltd is fully insured by Pacific International. Our technicians are licensed by the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA). Trainees complete the Rapid Training Course and receive extensive on-the-job training. All services are delivered in compliance with Australian Standards.
Weather Conditions
Since silverfish treatment is done indoors, weather conditions won't affect the service.
Free Service Period
Silverfish treatments include a Free Service Period of three months. If you're still experiencing a silverfish problem during this period, our Surekill technicians will return at no additional cost.
Payment
Payment options include cash, credit, EFTPOS or electronic funds transfer at commencement of the job.

How to Prepare for Silverfish Treatment?
Plastic Storage Containers
Store books, papers, and documents in light and airy areas on bookshelves. Plastic storage containers are recommended over cardboard boxes, as they provide better protection from silverfish.
Clean Up
A thorough cleanup before treatment is beneficial. Remove excess clutter, especially items that are being stored for long periods.

Discuss and Inspect
The Surekill technician will take time to discuss your silverfish problem and inspect the environment. They will also conduct an Environmental Inspection Report to ensure it is safe to conduct the treatment as required by the EPA.
Spray Application Inside the Property
The technician will apply spray treatments to the areas where silverfish have been found, as well as other common areas where silverfish are likely to reside.
Dust in Roof Voids and Subfloors
Dusting treatments are applied in roof voids and subfloor areas, which are dark, undisturbed places where silverfish often hide.

After Treatment
Pest Management Plan
The Surekill technician will review your Pest Management Plan, outlining when your next treatment is due and reminding you of any follow-up actions. You will also receive a renewal notice via text or email.
Odour Bags
If pests such as birds or rodents die in wall cavities or hidden spaces after treatment, you may experience unpleasant odours. We offer odour bags to help neutralise these smells. Please speak to your technician if needed.
