General Pest Service for Ongoing Protection
Seeing cockroaches, spiders, silverfish or carpet beetles around your property often indicates hidden harbourage areas and ongoing breeding activity. These pests commonly shelter in roof voids, wall cavities, subfloors, kitchens, bathrooms, storage areas and along skirting boards in both residential and commercial premises.
Left untreated, pest activity can increase over time, leading to contamination risks, property damage and recurring infestations. A professional, structured treatment is essential to target active pests and reduce future activity.
Surekill Pest Control provides targeted, safe and effective General Pest Services covering webbing spider, cockroaches, carpet beetles and silverfish. Our licensed technicians assess your property, identify harbourage areas and apply treatments designed to provide reliable, long-lasting protection.

How to Prepare for General Pest Service?
Minimise Clutter
Internal: remove excess clutter from floors, cupboards, wardrobes and storage areas. Clear items away from the skirting boards and corner to allow access for inspection and treatment.
External: remove excess clutter from around the exterior of the property, including items stored against walls, fences, patios and sheds. Clear leaf litter, stacked timber, stored materials and general debris from both front and back yards to allow safe access and effective treatment around the building perimeter and fence line.
Store Items in Plastic Containers
Where possible, store books, papers, clothing and stored goods in plastic storage containers rather than cardboard boxes. Cardboard can harbour silverfish, cockroaches and carpet beetles.
Vaccum Thoroughly
Vacuum carpets, rugs and edges along skirting boards, particularly in bedrooms, living areas and wardrobes.
-
Pay attention to under furniture and along carpet edges.
-
Dispose of vacuum contents in a sealed bag immediately after cleaning.
-
This is especially important for silverfish and carpet beetle management.
Kitchen Preparation
No need to empty kitchen cupboards. Leaving areas undisturbed allows treatment targeting German Cockroaches to work more effectively. However, please:
-
wipe down benches
-
remove exposed food
-
Ensure clear access under sinks and around kick-boards
Move Furniture Where Practical
Where possible, move light furniture slightly away from walls to allow access to skirting boards and carpet edges. Heavy furniture can remain in place unless otherwise advised.
