Wasp Treatment
Wasp Nest on Your Property?
Seeing wasps entering and exiting the same area often indicates an active nest nearby. Wasps commonly build nests in roof voids, wall cavities, eaves, sheds, garages, trees and underground areas around homes and commercial buildings.
Wasp nests can become aggressive if disturbed and pose a serious stinging risk to occupants, customers and pets. Attempting to remove a nest without proper equipment and experience can increase the danger and lead to repeated activity if the nest is not fully treated.
If you've noticed wasp activity around your property, early professional treatment is essential. Surekill Pest Control provides targeted, safe and effective wasp nest treatments designed to eliminate active nests and reduce ongoing risk. Our licensed technicians assess nest location, species behaviour and access points to apply the most appropriate control method for you property.

Before Treatment
Before the wasp treatment begins, there are a few steps to ensure your safety and the effectiveness of the process:
-
Remove pets and their bowls from the areas being treated
-
Inform the technician of your water tank location to ensure the safety of your water supply.
-
Close windows to prevent chemicals from entering your living space.
-
Turn off the air conditioner during the treatment to avoid spreading chemicals through the air.
-
Cover fish ponds and bird cages to protect aquatic life and birds from exposure.
-
Chemical-sensitive individuals should leave the premises until the treatment is complete, the chemical has dried, and the area is fully ventilated.

Treatment Process
Discuss and Inspect
Our Surekill Technician will take time to discuss the wasp treatment with you, explaining the process and answering any concerns. They will perform an Environmental Inspection Report to ensure the area is safe for treatment as required by the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA).
Nest Treatment
The Surekill Technician will carefully spray the wasp nest(s) with a targeted insecticide that effectively neutralises the wasps. Special attention will be given to ensure the treatment reaches all wasps, including those returning to the nest.
Avoid contact with any treated surfaces until the chemical agent has completely dried.
