Large Cockroach Treatment

1 Cockroach Means 100 More!

Spotting even a single large cockroach often indicates that many more are hiding out of sight. Species such as American, Australian, Brown-Banded, Smokey Brown and Oriental cockroaches commonly enter home and businesses through drains, wall cavities, roof voids, garages and external entry points.

Large cockroaches carry bacteria, contaminate food and surfaces, and can quickly become a persistent problem if not treated correctly. DIY sprays and surface treatments may kill visible cockroaches but do not address nesting areas or entry points, allowing the infestation to continue.

If you've seen large cockroaches on your property, early professional treatment is essential. Surekill Pest Control provides targeted, safe and effective large cockroach treatments designed to eliminate active infestations and reduce further activity. Our licensed technicians assess the infestation, identify harbourage and access points, and apply treatment methods suited to your property.

Treatment Process

Inspection

Our licensed Technician will conduct a thorough inspection of your property to identify cockroach activity, entry points, harbourage areas and contributing conditions such as moisture and food sources. An Environmental Inspection Report is completed to confirm the treatment can be carried out safely and in accordance with EPA regulations.

Treatment

Based on the inspection findings, a targeted treatment plan is implemented to address the infestation at its source.

Indoor Areas: Treatments are applied to skirting boards, cracks, corners, wall junctions, cupboards  and other areas where large cockroaches hid and travel.

Outdoor Areas: Key external zones such as  yard, patio, verandas, decks and building perimeters are treated to prevent cockroaches entering the structure.

Subfloor & Roof Spaces: Roof voids and subfloor areas are treated using long-lasting residual methods designed to flush out and control cockroaches nesting in concealed spaces.

After treatment, it is advised to avoid contact with treated surfaces until they have dried completely.  Also, you may notice dead or slow-moving cockroaches as the treatment takes effect. It typically takes up to 21 days for all cockroach activity to cease.

Our Surekill Technician will provide a Pest Management Plan, including recommendations for follow-up treatments and when you will receive a reminder for your next service.
