Normally found - red back spiders are usually found under houses, on unsewered toilets as they make a loose web in rubbish.
Recommended Treatments -
Toxixity - Very toxic, Female bites are very painful. Males don't bite.
Appearance - Long legs and large bulbous abdomen. Small cephalorthorax. Males (3-4 mm) are much smaller and insignificant to the female (12-15 mm). Black, velvery body with a red or white strip on the dorsal surface. This stripe may be missing on some.
